LOS ANGELES, CA - FEBRUARY 21, 2017 - Ron Wooten, Director of Product Testing and Certification at CRL-U.S. Aluminum, has earned FenestrationMaster® certification from the American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA). FenestrationMaster® is a national education and certification program for professionals in the fenestration industry. The program allows companies to differentiate themselves and increase credibility by retaining employees who have an expert-level understating of the fenestration field. To be admitted into the program, candidates must meet one of the following qualifications:
To achieve certification, candidates must first complete rigorous coursework that covers information from over 50 AAMA documents. Courses cover pertinent topics such as performance standards and considerations, glass selection, materials, code requirements, energy efficiency, testing, installation, and fenestration system design. After completing the coursework, they must pass a comprehensive final examination.

Ron has been in the fenestration industry for over three decades. He now serves as Director of Product Testing and Certification at CRL-U.S. Aluminum. In his position, Ron plans and directs activities for a team of product engineers and technicians in the performance testing of various CRL-manufactured products. He also engages in the research and development of new products, and implements improvements to existing products. Ron currently holds seven U.S. patents.
