New Hinges Feature Improved Performance to Accommodate Larger Doors

LOS ANGELES, CA - DECEMBER 11, 2015 - C.R. Laurence offers glazing contractors a full line of shower door hinges to help create contemporary frameless shower enclosures. The company is proud to introduce its new Victoria and Plymouth Door Hinge Systems to expand its offerings and deliver solutions for large glass doors, which are growing in popularity. The new hinges will premier at the 2016 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), January 19-21 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Victoria and Plymouth Series Door Hinges have the unique ability of supporting taller, heavier doors (max weight 140 lb, max width 39") using only two hinges instead of three. This produces a frameless aesthetic by reducing the amount of hardware needed. Both the Victoria and Plymouth Series utilize an integrated stiffening beam to minimize clamping plate flex, resulting in exceptional holding power. They also deliver increased self-centering force, and heat-treated stainless steel springs for enhanced durability. The Victoria hinge offers square edges, while Plymouth offers beveled edges. Additional features include:

• Integrated Safety Interlock enhances glass panel control
• Bumpers in both swing directions for added finish protection
• Wall mount and inline glass-to-glass configurations
• Angle adjustment component for ideal positioning
• Designed for 3/8" (10 mm) and 1/2" (12 mm) thick glass
